First ever "Zine" swap Ive participated in. Its an A4 page folded to create a wee book.
It is a very old style of publication, simple but stylish to produce.
And very easy for one to create something, that actulary turns into a book. I create one original, photocopied it in colour 5 times and sent it off to my Karen at
www.iamrushmore.blogspot.co.nz who is hosting the swap. I hope to get 5 "Zine's" in return. Ill post the images of the 5 I get in return when I recieve them.
Nice and colorful! I'm going to make mine this weekend.
ReplyDeleteooo I had a great time creating my Zine. Im so looking forward to getting some back.
DeleteI love your zine, Robin! I've never made one, but have wanted to try it. Not sure I'd be in time for Karen's swap! Your colors are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi Andria,
DeleteIve never made a Zine before either. I follow the Auckland Zine on facebook, and always love what they do. So I was excited when Karen put up a Zine swap.I jumped at the chance to be part of it. I think her closing date is 29th July. Whats cool is she posts photos on her blog of art everyone does. Very cool of her. www.mailmesomeart.blogspot.co.nz/2013/06/mini-zine-swap-mail-by-july-29th.html
Hi Robin, I received a copy of your beautiful mini zine through the MMSA Mini Swap and I love it. It is so colorful and the images are very sweet. And did I mention the verse? I was mesmerized and so glad to have it to keep. Hope you are having a wonderful day.
