Robin: I create hand made one-off, books and journals. I started creating journals 8 years ago, and have done lots of research and courses over that time, including the Association of Book Craft course. In 2011, I came first equal in the novice section of the Association of Book Crafts competition. Wow that was exciting for me. Also in 2011, I was fortunate enough to have a long stitch bound journal – “Travel Log: My Travels in China” selected for inclusion in the 2012 edition of “1000 Artists’ Books”. Books are submitted by artists from around the world, are judged, and the best are selected for the book published in the U.S. I am honoured to be included. I now run book making clasess for children and adults and run quarterly book making projects for enthusiasts around the country.
